
Sharada Campus: A milestone in educational history of Bhaktapur. Sharada Campus, the first education public college in Bhaktapur was established in 1990 at the initiative of a number of local educationists, intellectuals and social-workers. Aiming to contribute in developing educated manpower for the betterment of country the Campus provides path for higher learning through quality education. This campus is the non-profit making community college facilitates the underprivileged and marginalized youths in access to higher education with affordable fee structure.
Previously this campus focused mainly on fulfilling the need of trained and qualified teachers. At that time it has offered Proficiency and Bachelor level courses on Education. Where as at present it runs the programs in Education, Management and Humanities and Social-science Programmes of higher Secondary Education Board and Bachelor and Postgraduate (One year B.Ed.) programs of Tribhuvan University.
In addition to regular programmes, the campus, time and again provide special package courses and short term training in different aspects of education to the teachers, educational personnel and students as well. Moreover, it also conducts the specific academic programmes for other institutes in an effort to enhance efficiency and develop professionalism within them.

Constructively contribute to overall socio-economic advancement of Nepal and Nepalese people through the development of Education.
Objectives of the Campus:
General objectives of the campus are to provide higher education to the youths for development of the country.
Specific objectives:
Ø to help in fulfilling the growing demand for higher education in the country,
Ø to facilitate the underprivileged and marginalized groups in access to higher education,
Ø to provide quality higher-education through affordable fee to the youths of working people,
Ø to help develop professionalism among teaching community through conducting training and other academic programmes.
#Extra & co-curricular activities

- Sharada Campus organizes interactions, seminars and workshops as the extra-curricular activities to keep the students abreast with the developments seen in the educational field.
- As the co-curricular activities case study, field survey and community works along with excursions, field trips are organized to provide practical experiences to the students.
- Cultural and literary activities and games and sports weeks are organized regularly.

Sharada Campus is a service oriented i.e. non-profit oriented public college established in 1990 at the initiative of a number of local education experts, intellectuals and social workers. Its main aim is to contribute on the overall socio-economic advancement of Nepal and Nepalese through educational empowerment. It particularly focuses on fulfilling qualified human resources as teachers, administrative staffs, entrepreneurs, journalists and social workers. This College is imparting education to marginalized pupils form more than 35 districts including many of rural districts such as Sindupalchok, Ramechhap, Kavrepalanchok, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Ilam, Khotang, Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Darchhula at affordable fee. It is also granting scholarship to excellent and marginalized students. But it is facing obstacle of lack of adequate infrastructure to provide sound educational environment.
